The maximum number of rounds is 12 but be aware that it may not be possible to complete a game in 50 or 60 seconds or less, even for the speediest user. The game does not speed up, it's only the rounds that become shorter, forcing you to race against time.

So how do you know which colored symbol icons are paired? Symbols Match makes it fairly easy to guess. First, for two colored symbol icons to be paired, they have to be identical or show the same cartoon. You can't match two dissimilar colored symbol icons. Another hint provided by Symbols Match is that icons sitting next to each other are more likely to be paired or linked than those separated by other icons. In addition to rapidly tapping on symbol icons to eliminate them, Symbols Match gives you two tools to help you win the round. Tap the Refresh button, bottom left, to reshuffle the colored symbol icons so that linked pairs will sit closer to each other. You can also use the Find button, bottom right, to eliminate up to 3 connected colored symbol icon pairs. Use this last feature if you are desperate because the round is about to finish. This symbols game wants to you be as successful as possible.

When a round's over, a window will pop up indicating either Success or Failure, and the time used to complete the round. Anything less than the duration of the round, is a success. Below that information, there are three buttons that let you control the flow of the game. If you click on the Red X button, you will exit the game. If you click on the Green Arrow button, you will repeat that round. If you click on the Blue Arrow button, you will advance to the next round in this symbols matching game.
