With Traditional Sweden’s Advent Calendar you can get a piece of Swedish Christmas every day of December leading up to Christmas Eve! Listen to well-known Swedish Christmas songs, see a full Lucia procession, become inspired by the food you normally find at a Swedish Christmas smorgasbord – perhaps even try the recipes, and much, much more…
Each window contain a famous Swedish Christmas song and a Swedish tradition like candle making, dancing games and saffron bun baking on video. Window number 13, for example will contain a Lucia procession, recorded in Lund's Cathedral, Sweden.
Some windows also have recipes, instructions or other information related to that window. These texts are available in both Swedish and English.
NOTE: The movies are not included in the app, they are downloaded after installation. You can either download all of them at once (340 MB for phones ro 470 MB for tablets) or one movie at the time when you want to watch it. Downloading all movies at once usually takes 10 to 15 minutes if you are connected via WiFi.
