Starship sensors have detected unusual activity on a strange looking moon-like planet. You beam down to investigate, but strange malfunction occur on board the Enterprise and you are the only one of the landing party to arrive. No phaser, no equipment just the combadge which seems to be blocked by some interference.
The worst thing is that you discover hostile intelligent life inside the moon which puts your skills and life under a test.
