StableLab detects and quantifies a protein in blood called Serum Amyloid A. Serum Amyloid A is normally absent, or only present in very low concentrations in healthy horses, but increases rapidly and dramatically in response to infection or severe trauma The severity of disease is reflected in the level of SAA elevation, making StableLab an excellent health management tool.
The StableLab app helps users keep track of their stable at a glance by entering StableLab SAA test results. Customers can easily track the health of all the horses in their stable while adding notes, diagnosis, nutrition information and treatment plans to enrich the test data. A home dashboard directs users to the horses that need the most attention that day and charting features allow customers to track their horses' health over time.
