Learn Italian with our unique format. Square One Italian Free is a smaller free version of our Square One Italian app. This app contains the first 29 lessons of the full version which at the moment has a total of 294 lessons. Each lesson is two pages. The first page has a few lines of English text which may be one or more short sentences, or a number of phrases. There is a button to play the text in Italian. The second page has the text written in Italian, a literal translation of the Italian, a button to play the same recording, and a section of commentary pointing out various features of the language that can be seen in the text.
The app is intended to teach you something of the grammar and rules of the language while learning some vocabulary and hearing it spoken by native Italians. If you find it useful we hope you will consider buying the full app for $1.99. We intend to keep adding lessons and any new ones will come to you in updates. We do not intend to charge anyone more than once. Thanks for your attention.
