David Herbert Lawrence (1885-1930) - one of the most popular writers of England, the first third of XX century, the author of ten novels and numerous novellas and short stories. The novel "Sons and Lovers", written in 1913, is largely autobiographical. Lawrence tells the story of two generations of the family Morel, living in a small mining town.
