LinkedPersonalData.org's Social Health Tracker uses sensors in your phone to track aspects of your social health - from Call Logs and SMS to determine how social you are, to accelerometer readings to determine how active you are.Social Health Tracker aggregates this information across all users in an anonymous, privacy-preserving manner to give you a sense of where you stand amongst your friends and everyone else using the app.

Note: this app requires a membership to LinkedPersonalData.org, where you can view all of the data this app has collected about you, and use it however you like. As with all LinkedPersonalData apps, data collected within this app will also contribute to your personal data profile, providing you with even more power over your personal data, and a more complete picture of yourself and your behavior online.

A note about some of the more suggestive permissions requested:

Location is requested as a means of better shaping the activity metric in the future. Future plans for this application will remove that permission.

SMS, Call Logs, and Bluetooth are used as a means of measuring social interaction.

Internet is used to communicate with the LinkedPersonalData.org registry and personal data stores, and local storage on your phone is used to store information prior to uploading to the cloud.
