The first usage of Snap Measure needs a setup, using a meter or another object of known length. After this one-time setup the App is configured and produces reliable measurements. With a good setup the measurement error is usually smaller than 3%.

NOTE: The measurements done with this App rely on a certain set of assumptions. Accurate measurements are only possible when fulfilling these assumptions. Most of the assumptions are shown in the help. Please read the help carefully to understand how to use Snap Measure.
