Therapy for childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) should provide significant practice to establish necessary skilled motor behaviors. This app allows for practice in a hierarchical manner in a systematic approach. The student will receive multiple opportunities with repetitive practice on motor speech activities. These activities include CV/VC, CVC, CVCV, CVCVC, and multisyllabic word selections and prompts.
This app contains over 125 colorful pictures/words at the five levels of production. Audio is provided to name each picture allowing for more independent practice for students and auditory bombardment. Each app provides the opportunity for data collection during therapy. The therapist can email the data at the end of the session to save in student records. This app is a great way to practice sounds in therapy or at home with family and friends.
