SkyPhoto Synchronize provides you with a solution to intelligently upload and auto-categorize your on-phone pictures to Skydrive. Photos are uploaded at the maximum allowed resolution (currently 2048x2048) and auto-filed into subfolders which are created as needed.
You may have your pictures either sorted into folders by where they were taken (town, state) or by a variety of date groupings.

Because I've upgraded to Windows Phone 8, and this is now built-in functionality, I've released the source code in case it can help someone else.
