Simple PowerPoint Remote is a simplified PowerPoint remote that enables you to:

- Connect the computer hosting the PowerPoint presentation over a network (WiFi).

- Navigate through slides

- Start-up a presentation

- Exit out of a presentation

PLEASE NOTE:

The intention of this app is to create a very simplified PowerPoint remote that works seamlessly and doesn't require an IT specialist to set up.

In order to set this up, you will need to run a program on the computer hosting the PowerPoint presentation to enable the app to communicate with your computer. Follow the steps bellow to get this app working.

STEPS:

- Download the .jar file located here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wifiremoteclickerserver/?source=directory (You may need to install java if you don't have it.

- Run the JAR file.

- Open the app. The app should detect the your computer right away. If it doesn't, hit "manually connect" and enter the IP address shown on the Simple PowerPoint Clicker server.

- If the connection was successful the Simple PowerPoint Clicker server will show "Connected".

- You should now be able to control the PowerPoint presentation. NOTE: make sure that the PowerPoint presentation is the active window.
