This app turns off the notification volume when you drive to prevent texting while driving and automatically sends a text to let others know that you will contact them later. When a phone call is received, the app speaks out who is calling so you can answer it or ignore it without having to glance at your phone. To use this app, just open it and follow the tutorial and the app will start itself and run in the background; it will do all the work for you. To stop the app, just open the app and press the button on the bottom. You can also customize settings such as the auto reply message and how often the GPS will check your speed. This app was made possible thanks to Dylan Kiley and Brian Thornber who both came up with the idea and did the research, and Kyle Corry who is the lead programmer of the Android version.
Permissions:
- Precise Location: This allows the app to tell your speed and if you are driving.
- Read Phone Status and Identity: This allows the app to tell if a phone call comes in so it can allow it to go through while driving.
- Receive Text Messages: This allows the app to get the sender of a text while driving.
- Send SMS Messages: This allows the app to send auto-reply messages while driving.
- Full Network Access, View Network Connections, View WiFi Connections: Ads.
- Run At Startup: This allows the app to automatically start when you reboot your device.
- Read Your Contacts: This allows the app to read out who is calling.
- Keep Device Awake: Allows the app to use less battery power with GPS
