Has it ever occurred to you to receive a particular image on Whatsapp, or to see a beautiful drawing on Facebook, a photo on Google+ or any other social network, and you wanted to know more about it? Would you like to see where that image was featured in internet, find a similar image or with a different size? With Search by Image it's all very simple: any app that allows image sharing can be used to look up for images through Search by Image! If the image has been used by any website, the app will find it.
This app adds a new functionality to Android's "share menu" called "#1 Search by Image": just click on it and a browser will appear with all the information about that image.
IF AND ONLY IF THE IMAGE IS ALREADY STORED in the Google database, thanks to Search by Image Picture Photo you can:
- Identify author of a painting, a drawing or an artwork
- Find out the name of an actor, a singer, a top model, a celebrity
- Learn the name of a city
- Look for images of various sizes that can be downloaded and used as wallparer
- Discover the name of a product, a music album, a car ...
- Find out the name of a movie, a TV series, a cartoon
- Identify fake accounts on Facebook (i.e. if the profile picture is the photo of a model)
- Look for similar images, or images with similar colours
- ...
The list could go on forever because it's possible to get lots of information based on the power of the Google search engine.
