Scan2Webapp was designed to replace traditional and expensive hardware barcode scanners by allowing users to download a smartphone app and simply enter their web application's URL where they wish to scan a barcode to. The user has the ability to change the field name containing the barcode that is sent to their webapp, they can choose whether it should be sent as GET or POST request, as well as the ability to access the barcode type that was scanned.Once a barcode is successfully scanned your RESTful API can simply return plaintext that is then displayed within the application to indicate success, or whatever message you wish to display.Should you have any questions or feature requests, send an email directly to the developer via tylerjwhitney@gmail.com or via his contact form on his website http://www.tylerwhitney.com.
