SEC Youth is one of the many departments within the South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (SEC) ministering within the South of England, United Kingdom.

The South England Conference Youth Department works with young people age 18 and above. We provide practical resources, training, and mentoring opportunities to youth leaders and their youth within the South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists region.

For 2011-2015, Youth Ministries is focusing on five areas of emphasis:

1. Prayer and Bible Study: To strengthen young people’s relationship with Christ Prayer and Bible Study

2. Equipping Youth Leaders: To provide contemporary, relevant resources for the young people in order for them to be able to get involved in a variety of ministries

3. Ministry in Action: To encourage a greater involvement in the work of the Adventist Church and to provide opportunities to engage with communities, both in the UK and abroad.

4. Shepherding: To assist Priority Area Churches to build partnership in their work with the young people, and

5. Reclaiming and Sustaining Young People: To encourage, through Young Adventist Leadership (YAL), a culture which fosters and supports new initiatives, social entrepreneurship and risk taking to unlock resources in the form of buildings, people and energy.
