You can use RentRight to:
• correctly contact your property manager/landlord
• adapt and send sample emails on a range of issues, including repairs and ending a lease
• access information to help resolve problems you may encounter
• calculate how much a week's rent is per month, six months and yearly
• calculate your up-front costs when moving into a new rental.
Private renters in Victoria can use all parts of this app. Some of its functions can also apply to public housing tenants; for further advice, contact your local Housing office.
RentRight has been developed by Consumer Affairs Victoria, the government body that regulates residential tenancies in Victoria, Australia.
