This app offers you a new way to modify your photos. It allows you to change the aspect ratio of your pictures with minimal visual artifacts. Important content, like people or landmarks, can be preserved while parts of the background might get stretched or cropped.Features• Take pictures or import images from your camera roll• Change the aspect ratio and let the app optimize your photo to the new size• Draw onto the important parts of the photo to refine the deformation• The automatic importance map preserves faces and strong edges in the picture• Export a high-resolution copy of the resized image to the camera roll• The gallery shows optimized squared thumbnails of all edited photosThis application was developed in the Bachelor Thesis of Daniel Graf at ETH Zurich.
