Reading for Details - The 5W's|教育線上App不用買

Reading for Details helps students practice their understanding of the 5W's of Reading Comprehension - who, what, why, when, where. Students will read an engaging story (approximately 100 words) about an inventor and his/her invention. The student will be asked a reading for details question (who, what, why, when, where) and will be given 3 answer choices. An incorrect response allows the student to read the passage again and select a different answer.

The app can be played in either practice mode or game mode. In practice mode, the student reads the passage and answers the question. In game mode, the student plays a bingo-like game. A correct answer to the reading for details question allows the student to place a market on the game card. Five markers in a pattern wins the game.

The app has 3 reading levels:

Red Level - Reading Levels 2.0 to 3.5

Blue Level - Reading Levels 3.5 to 5.0

Green Level - Reading Levels 5.0 to 6.5

The skills in this app have been aligned with the Common Core State Standards. The reading levels have been controlled using the Spache Reading Formula.
