HELP YOUTH FIND A MEAL Range is a mobile app that locates the time and place where free meals are served this summer.*Update 9/12/14: Range is useful during the summer months only (May-August). Data for summer 2015 will begin to be uploaded in May 2015. Government agencies, schools, nonprofits, and community members are working hard to promote the programs that feed youth during the summer. Range is part of that effort.If you work with youth or interact with families in need, use Range to increase visibility to the neighborhood sites that provide this crucial service. Summer meal programs provide free lunches to kids 18 and under in your community when school is out. Tell others about Range —librarians, clergy, social workers, physicians, parks and rec counselors—and how they can help families find free meals this summer.Data from WhyHunger.org, a database of federal and grassroots nutrition programs, powers Range to locate reliable sources of healthy and free meals.
