Pocket Record is an App that allows you to quickly and easily record audio. Recordings can be started and stopped without unlocking your phone or even taking the device out of your pocket. Recording can be toggled on and off by double tapping the volume up button immediately after the screen turns on.

• Quickly start and stop recordings by double pressing the volume up button

• Recordings can be started and stopped from Pocket Record’s home screen or when the phone wakes

• View the recording status from Pocket Record’s home screen

• Manage recorded audio files in a modern highly responsive UI

• Create folders to group recordings using the in app menu

• Long press recordings to move, rename, or delete them

• Quickly enable and disable the OnWake feature through the preferences screen

• Advanced users can configure how long Pocket Record waits for input and how many times the volume button needs to be pressed to toggle recording

• Volume key presses performed inside Pocket Record will not change the volume of the phone while volume key presses performed outside the app will behave normally

• The maximum recording length can be configured or the limit can be removed to allow for very long recordings

Notes:

Pocket Record may conflict with other lock screen replacement programs

Works best on devices that have wake on volume press enabled

Phones without wake on volume can record from the pocket by pressing the power button then the volume button
