Calculations are performed in real time as you type. The Colebrook-White equation is used to calculate the friction factors and the Darcy-Weisbach equation to calculate pressure loss. PipeWiz has an extensive database of materials and fluids out of the box. However, users are free to edit and create their own pipe material and fluid data. PipeWiz supports both Metric and Imperial units. Simply long tap any field and one can change the units of that particular entry.
