Pedius is a mobile app that allows phone calls for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Through our app you can call landline and mobile phones.
Using speech synthesis and voice recognition technologies, after login users can insert a phone number and start a call.
Calling is simple, just write a message or record your voice and start a call.
During phone calls a voice will read what you write and you will be able to read on screen in real time no matter what the other person says. You can also record messages using your own voice by pressing the "microphone" button.
If the voice transcription is not accurate enough, Pedius automatically shows a few alternatives, and if still not enough, you can easily ask to repeat through the "R" button.
Pedius is available for free in its beta version in the United
States. Free calls will be available until May 1st, 2015.
