On the outskirts of Little India, tucked away at the foot of an apartment building, is Ochin Tapas Bistro. Just mere minutes away from City Square Mall, our family-run tapas joint was opened in tribute to our late mother.

Casual, cozy yet chic in a relaxing way, our fifty-seater bistro exudes warmth and vibrancy with its rich, deep red tones and funky red lights, giving the whole place a welcoming glow. Hanging on the walls near the back of the restaurant are old photographs of our late mother in her younger days.

Lending a Peranakan twist to the classic Spanish cuisine, the menu at Ochin sees a mixture of Asian spices and fresh herbs dominating the menu. Craftily created by Executive Chef Peter Tan, expect nothing less than the pleasingly unexpected small bites.

Ochin's dishes are simple, straightforward and delicious - Braised Pork Belly and caramalized apple roll accompanied by shallot balsamico, Asparagus tips wrapped with grilled eggplant and finished with crispy herbed wonton skin, Meatball combination of pork, shrimp and crunchy water chestnut steamed and topped with salted egg yolks, Scallops served on crispy butternut pumpkin and topped with oyster and ginger glaze.
