At 2:44 a.m. on a cool spring morning, a catastrophic meltdown took place inside reactor number five at the nuclear power plant in District Two. The explosion that followed sent tongues of flames and radioactive material soaring into the skies. Many fled, but their health declined so rapidly that they did not survive for long. What most of the world didn't know was that a few souls remained behind, trapped in an experiment gone awry. These few lived, but they suffered metamorphic changes in strength. The government caught wind of these experiments and what the mastermind behind their enhanced abilities plans to do. Why was I being sent to end their attack on our district before it came to pass, you may ask? Why, I am immune. Suffering a similar attack as a newborn and surviving, I am one of the first beings to survive such a fate and come out with a perfect bill of health. I am not immortal, an undead monster, alien nor any other nightmarish creature you might think me, though. Do I consider myself a man? No. I am a soldier, doing my job, and doing darn fine work of it too, all thanks to my skills, quick reactions, strategic planning, and, yes, my immunity. I alone will go into the belly of the beast, this seaside district haunted by only the afflicted, the strong. And I must annihilate them all.

☠Enter the Danger Zone☠

When you begin this merciless quest, you will start out unarmed. To begin fighting, you will need to locate and equip any weapon you can find. A selection of weapons are hidden throughout each level and a scattering of exploding barrels found around you will also be to your benefit when hunting enemies. Of course, with so many foes lurking around, ready to pounce, you'll need some ammo and health packs. These perks are also hidden in the maps, but don't rely on these pickups overly much, for they will begin to dwindle as you progress for the ultimate challenging experience. So what are you waiting for? Take up your arms and get ready to blast away some enemy scum!
