This APP is suitable for Protection Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers and Commissioning Engineers.
It has two functionalities:
1 Define symmetrical components for a three phase system (Fortescue)
Provides dynamic data on three phase system values as well as its corresponding symmetrical components set. The user will be able to change each vectors by dragging circles around vector arrow head. This could be used to check fault calculation, fault reports, transient recorders.
2 Define tripping time of overcurrent relays, for typical testing current values.
Provides tripping time to be expected of an overcurrent relay during testing. This for overcurrent relays having typical IEEE, US, IEC and UK curves. The user will be able to correspondingly change the multiplier settings (TD for IEEE and US curves or TMS for IEC or UK curves). Overcurrent relay characteristic is plotted.
