Note: Right now, the app only works with screen sizes>=3.7 inches (although 3.3 should still work fine). I am hopping to add support for the smallest screen size soon, it is difficult because of all of the number buttons.

This free app offers difficult problems to be solved with brute mental strength. Simply solve the problems that show up with your brainpower to increase your speed at arithmetic problems. Number Sense is great for high school students wanting to practice for mental math exams. The algorithm for generating problems is based off of the first 20 arithmetic problems that Texas High School students would see on a U.I.L. Test. Anyone can use this app to help them improve their mental math skills. The timer goes for 5 minutes, but feel free to press the END button whenever you are feeling overwhelmed. While some of these problems may be more difficult than everyday problems, practice with this app can make anybody sharper and more capable of solving any math problem.

Features:

Many people solve their math problems from the ones digit, to the the tens digit and so on. Therefore, Number Sense will accept answers that are perfectly backwards. For example, if the problem is 17*17, the app will accept 289 (the correct answer) or 982 ( the reversed answer). Simply enter the number, and if it is right, the app will increase your score and give you a new problem.
