If you are a musician, or you are just learning to play an instrument, you may find a song that you wish to learn to play, but the song is new or not so popular yet and you can't find the chords or the tablature on Internet. Sometimes the song has something special, a subtle sound, or a really fast part and you would like to listen to it slowly, step by step, note for note.

With MusicTrans you can take any song and analyze it from different perspectives. Just open your song and MusicTrans will show you some suggested notes graphically. On some songs, you just need to look at the screen to recognize the bass lines, and then the chord changes, without touching any setting. If you find a fast part, you can play it down to 25% of the original speed, without affecting the pitch, so the fast phrase will be turned into just a slow sequence of notes.

To help you go deeper into the song, MusicTrans provides several filters to mute some parts of the sound, leaving only those parts in which you are interested. You will not only hear the song differently, but also the graphical analysis of the notes will reflect what you are listening at all times.
