The Morse Fall Scale is a Fall Risk Assessment tool that predicts the likelihood that a patient will fall.
The Morse Fall Scale should be calibrated for each particular healthcare setting or unit so that fall prevention strategies are targeted to those most at risk.
This application lets the user change the settings to equal the scores of the healthcare where the user will use it.
The user can use the help for an explanation on how to evaluate the patient in the six different variables that are quick and easy to score, and it has been shown to have predictive validity and interrater reliability. The MFS is used widely in acute care settings, both in the hospital and long term care inpatient settings.
The Risk Level will change color between: red (High Risk), yellow (Low Risk) and green (No Risk).
