Welcome to Mood Trips Angkor!The first travel app of our South East Asia collection. This app is about a set of mood trips which define Angkor, the legendary Archeological area by Siem Reap, Cambodia. It uses photos, map animations, and a smart algorithm for instant GPS trips based on sunset time that day! Here is how the app is helpful:1. Why should you go to Angkor? Just swipe the very first set of welcome slides to find out!Hint: Not just history (nature, lifestyle, unwind..)2. Interested in Angkor but no plans yet?The way we price our app, it will still be an investment! Enjoy our presentations in the comfort of your living room, perhaps via AirPlay/AppleTV (our slideshows play instantly, no downloads). However, we hope you do find time to go!3. How many days do you need?The most important question, which everyone answers correctly after returning! (after falling short). Our presentations will give you an estimate based on how many day trips you might make besides other mandatory or casual activities. You cannot see every site, but we do fit Angkor into a set of 'mood themes'. So you can at least experience every different mood or concept even on a short vacation! It ranges from 5-12 days, but find out what is best for you (show our app to friends in your group, as well). We also have special 'trip recipes' for those who have just 2-3 days (too short, but we respect time-budget constraints). 4. Plan before going- Trip Budget, Hotels...Although our app is about trips, we do list a basic set of hotels (all prices; boutique!), restaurants and local attractions in Siem Reap and a two day stop at Phnom Penh, as 'starter' guides- minimal yet sufficient! Our mood trips are for everyone! 1. Prefer relaxing at your resort? Most of our mood trips start late afternoon into magic-hour/sunset. No rushed mornings, sleep well, enjoy the pool or spa.2. Active/Outdoor freak? We have 'beyond our trips' suggestions plus you may have your own interests. Explore all day, then blend into one of our mood trips, to end your evening on a memorable (magical:) note. 3. Like photography? In this mobile era you better! For each GPS pin we have an overlay map with points to sit/walk/view. The photos in our presentation, match the phase of day recommended for a trip (and we hope you get better shots).What's included: App features and Specs 1. With over 400 full screen photo-slides, synced with animated mapcasts, you will get an overview of major, minor and in-between spots of Angkor in an hour or two! (no internet needed as every photo is bundled in). 2. In 3 steps, choose a date & trip option, and boom... you have a GPS map with photo icons and time stamps based on sunset on that day! (internet needed for live map tiles, but photo-pins/overlay maps will always display fine. Wifi iPads can connect via a phone hotspot). 3. Save a graphic basemap with spot times, as a photo or email it to your phone before you go off wifi/3G zones. You can also print/staple it with other itinerary documents. Or better, import into a note/sketch app to scribble over or for a personal journal.4. Our app is a result of first hand experience. We do not buy images nor ask experts to write text. So our photos actually help you make decisions rather than just make an app look good. Finally, what do we mean by a mood trip? A self guided trip at your own pace, to absorb the overall feel of a place or essence of a concept. Yes, there is more to it than just that!
