Julian Coronado was born on Quito , Ecuador's capital city . motivated by his Dad's band he start singing with them , " Los Hermanos Moran " conjunto musical . At the age of 6 , they took the little Julian to sing for the first time in a radio station , the "RCQ " Radio Cristal de Quito , where he started to sing He then won a competition organised by his home town Sangolqui , searching for the best singer age 6 - 12 . His mum Ana Vaca , have noticed his passion for music , and she send Julian to study music at " Conservatorio Nacional de Musica" he was studying vocals and drum kit. At the age of 8 Julian won the first place on the competition of national popular music (any age ) organised by " Conservatorio Nacional de Musica " Julian carry on his dream of become a professional performer and musician . he found a band to play , At the age of 12 he played the drum kit on "Grupo Honey " it was a 60's style Latin rock band , he also play a very popular instrument on Latin America , el requinto , he play along with his Dad Julian Abdon on the guitar and his older sister Carmita Coronado for 4 years performing most of the time in Quito but many times outside on different towns as well . At the age of 16 he emigrated to London England , he then play with Latin touch Entertainment and the Mariachi Azteca , In London Julian obtained some qualifications from Guildhall school of music , after finishing a music course , he finish with Merit / distinction . So he spend around 16 years performing Mariachi music , playing with almost all the Mariachi bands in the uk. Mariachi Azteca , Mariachi Chapala , Mariachi Tequila , Mariachi Soneros , Mariachi Mexteca (Mariachi Doritos ) , and Mariachi El Mexicano. Now Julian is leading this Mariachi Aguilas and Grupo Aguilas (tex -mex music ) with the best players and performers in town a group of London star players , and will still performing music with the same passion as it was the first time.
