MapLAF - Lost and Found|社交線上App不用買-HotApp4Game

MapLAF is a lost and found application. It connects the people in the regular Lost and Found process. Users can report a lost or found item to MapLAF so that other MapLAF users can see them via the view items feature. Users can also utilize the auto-match feature to match found items with their own lost items with one tap. Furthermore, users can also view items by location and category. Finally, users can edit, delete their items posted on MapLAF.

How MapLAF searches for matched items? It uses locations and categories as the search criteria. A lost item is specified by a point and a radius used to draw a circle around it. A found item is specified as a simple pin point on the map. If the found item belongs to the same category that the lost item belongs to, and it resides within the geometrical circle the lost item defines, MapLAF will consider the found item a match.

MapLAF has put security into concern during the Lost and Found process; it tries to bring the app experience similar to the in-person Lost and Found experience. For example, it does not allow users to view the picture of a found item except the current owner (person who reported it).

As the most convenient Lost and Found application, MapLAF is currently in beta. MapLAF will continue improve, and we, the MapLAF team, will try our best to make MapLAF as convenient as possible. Lets help the worried ones find their lost items together.

MapLAF will later bring 3rd party login, other social network sharing into the mobile Lost and Found experience, for the purpose of enabling the information to be spread more widely in order to increase the possibility of having the item returned.
