When using a MDM (AirWatch, Mobile Iron, Mass360, etc for a completely locked down device that has limited access to settings it is often hard to allow users to reset their PIN numbers at will. In healthcare it was important for us to allow users to set and change their lock codes when needed, but we also wanted to keep them out of the settings menu because it would allow them to unlock their devices from the MDM. The built in settings to reset PINs in most MDMs will take a user to the full settings menu where they can totally disable the MDM or change other settings they dont normally have access to in their locked down launcher. This simple application allows you to assign an icon to this app which only launches the Android PIN reset dialog without providing access to the settings. This app has been tested on the Nexus 5 as well as the Galaxy not 8 and 10 but it likely compatible with most versions of Android.
