MB WAY is a mobile payment service provided by the Portuguese Banks, that allows you to make instant money transfers and make purchases at participating merchants. The cardholder must previously enroll on their online banking or at an ATM. You can send or receive transfers immediately just by using your mobile phone number, or you can pay using your mobile phone number (or e-mail). Every payment is protected by a PIN code introduced in the MB WAY app.To use MB WAY you must have a data connection (mobile network or wi-fi). MB WAY is available for Portuguese mobile phone numbers and for Portuguese MULTIBANCO banking cards.At this stage the service enrollment must be performed at an ATM and requires an invitation code.
