In 2005, the Fleischner Society - a multidisciplinary thoracic radiology society - established guidelines for the management and followup of < 8 mm solid lung nodules detected incidentally on non-screening CT imaging in individuals 35 years of age and older. Earlier this year, the Fleischner Society established guidelines for the management of subsolid lung nodules, as well.This app permits physicians to quickly ascertain the Fleischner surveillance recommendation for incidental solid and subsolid lung nodules. It was developed as a service to the medical community and is provided free of charge and free of advertising.
