Local Trader is an application for LocalBitcoins that allows you to update advertisements, message contacts, release trades, view profiles, or receive Bitcoin into your LocalBitcoins wallet.

The application requires a LocalBticoins.com account. If you don't have one, register for an account at https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=2hbo first before logging into the app. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes.

UPDATE: Recent changes to LocalBitcoins authorization web page require JavaScript to be active. Please update to the latest version of the application to fix login issues.

FEATURES:

NOTE:

The functionality of the application is limited to that provided by the LocalBitcoins. LocalBitcoins has not provided a way for local trades to be funded or released at this time. I encourage people to contact LocalBitcoins support and ask for this feature.

SECURITY:

The application does not directly access your LocalBitcoins login credentials. The login process occurs through the LocalBitcoins web site using Oauth2 authentication to retrieve a token. The application only requests authorization to edit advertisements, view account and wallet information, send and receive messages, and release trades. The application DOES NOT have permission to send bitcoins from your wallet at this time.
