Learn to Spell with Dad is a quick game that I developed for my daughter to help her learn to spell. She and a friends daughter each helped draw some of the art. The approach taken is based off the Montessori system of spelling with letters being sound focused rather than name focused. Thus, instead of saying "A", the Montessori approach says the letters sound "aaahh".

This game has two modes. First a preschool mode where children can learn some short 3 or 4 letter words and the sounds of the letters, selecting from a small set of possible letters. Second is a kindergarten mode where children are given larger words with all the letters to choose from.

This game was made with no budget, audio was captured with a simple microphone so while imperfect, allows a more natural feel to the game. The art was photographed and edited in a free paint program, hoping to retain it's authenticity while being cute and simple.

The application has had limited testing and is known to work on Android phones, but is designed to work on tablets as well. Please provide feedback if problems are found.
