Idioms and other set phrases are a crucial and colorful part of the Chinese language. This app provides a thorough introduction to five selected phrases through a series of learning activities:
1) Video of a short, comic skit illustrating the use of the phrase
2) Supplementary video explaining to the use of the phrase in different contexts
3) Learner's guide providing additional explanatory and usage notes
4) Character trainer demonstrating how each character in the phrase is written and enabling users to practice writing it themselves
5) Flashcards to test users' mastery of the new vocabulary they've learned
6) Sentence scramble to practice restoring characters in sample sentences to their correct sequence
