Giuseppe (Joe) Vitale, Sicilian-born owner of Joe’s Pizza, began his career as a pizza maker in New York City in the 80’s. He opened three locations on the West Coast including locations in Hollywood, West Hollywood and Santa Monica.Joe’s signature thin crust is light and crisp, their marinara is tangy, and the mozzarella is subtle but flavorful. Family recipes have been passed down from generation to generation, continent to continent, and finally from the East coast to the West coast. Joe Vitale and his son, Joe Jr., both keep a watchful eye on what's being dished out of the stone-fire oven and ensure that each pie is perfectly crafted. With multiple locations under their belt, Joe’s Pizza has become “The New York” pizza on the West Coast. In 2012, Joe’s Pizza begun a massive brand expansion and opened 2 locations in Westfield’s Fashion Square and Century City Malls.Additionally, Joe’s recently launched ‘Joe’s Pizza Truck’, a mobile-version of the stores that specializes in catering outside events.
