Infinite Expansion is a board game. You play it by moving virtual game pieces around a virtual game board. One of the best ways to think of Infinite Expansion is that you don't just play on a board, you play against the board. You make a move, and the board makes a move, you make a move, and the board makes a move. In the end, either you win or the board wins.

Each time you move, you move a game piece from one square to another. You can move up, down, left, or right on any move. Each time the board makes a move, it subdivides some of the squares. In other words, the board picks a square and subdivides it into four smaller squares. It may then subdivide those smaller squares again, and again. Eventually, the squares can become quite small. The game pieces grow and shrink, and necessary, to fit one the squares.

The you have two objectives. The first objective is to move all the game pieces from the bottom of the board to the top of the board. The second objective is to score as many points as possible.
