"Discover who you've been missing" When we experience college, or reminisce about it, we may think from time to time about that one person and ask ourselves “what if.” What if I talked to them? Should I go say hi? What if they think I am a creep? To this day, we have not met a single person who is against meeting new people. Going to a school with 40,000+ people may be overwhelming, but it is a golden opportunity to make lasting connections with each other.

Team Crushes created the Illini Crushes and Confessions service to allow students at University of Illinois to connect with each other anonymously and eventually, in real life by letting them break that initial barrier of shyness or fear of being rejected. With confessions, we also let students voice their opinions without any repercussions or revelation of identity. We actively listen to students and are in direct contact with them because most importantly, we are students ourselves.

We found that we also shared the same feelings thousands of students have about a person they met on a bus or an opinion they were itching to tell the campus community, so we created a way to do so.
