This app will help the health care provider manually complete these calculations to:• Verify the solution and volume delivery to help avoid any adverse effects • Check and confirm the accuracy of the IV Infusion Pump.• Deliver the solution as ordered when an Infusion Pump is not available. This is a simple 2-step process where you: 1. Enter the ordered amount in units or mg, the administration rate in mg per minute or units per hour, and the total volume of the fluid in mL, then 2. Calculate the IV flow rate (IVFR) expressed as mL per min or mL per hour.
