HypoAlarm is an alarm that can be set to go off daily. If the user fails to respond to the alarm, and doesn't cancel the follow-up notification before the grace period (by default, an hour) has expired, the app will send a text message to a phone number that the user has specified, warning that the user hasn't responded to the alarm, and giving the user's current location (if available on their phone).
It may be useful for diabetics who live alone or who are travelling.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS APP DOES NOT TREAT OR PREVENT DIABETIC COMAS, OR ANY OTHER SYMPTOM OF DIABETES. It is intended solely to warn a family member or friend that the user has failed to respond to a daily alarm. This may indicate the user has low or high blood sugar levels; or it may mean they are in perfect health but have left their phone at home by accident.
