This app was made because sound has been undervalued and we believe sound is precious. This app let's you record sounds on your mobile device and share them with the world. The Human Song is the combination of all these sounds. Will you help record this song? What will you add? The sound of a child? The sound of laughter? Bomb's dropping? A poem read aloud? Will you choose to bring beauty? Will you choose to bring ugliness? We hope that an effort is made to bring beauty, but in truth all of it is precious because you are unique and this moment in time is unique. Record it. Record yourself. Record your environment. Weave your notes into the ever evolving Human Song.

Permissions

Device & app history: This is for push notifications. If a user creates a note near you, likes your note, follows you, or comments on your note, then you will get a notification. This can be turned off.

Identity: Human Song requires an account to use and this let's us store info account info on your device so you don't have to log in every time.

Location: Human Song stores Geo Location info for where you were when a sound was recorded. This is not displayed. It is used to help fellow Human Song writers know when someone posts nearby.

Photos/Media/Files: Human Song uses two kind of media. One is of course sound. We temporarily record sound to your device before storing on a network server. We also enable you to create icons for your profile. This means you can access your camera roll to choose a photo to use as an icon.

Camera: For making an icon for your account.

Microphone: To record you of course, but only when you say.

Wi-Fi: This is actually no longer needed and we'll be removing soon.

Device ID & call information: This is also for Push Notifications.
