Horsey How 2 Colours, Markings & Points

Ever wondered what the difference between a stripe and a blaze is? Well, this app will explain and show you the difference.

This app explains the different colours of the horse by means of many pictures of horses and providing an explanation about each colour. It also shows different markings that can appear on horses, again with several pictures and a short description for each marking. As if that was not enough, it also shows over 50 points of the horse, each point highlighted on an image and with a text description.

This app is divided into 3 main sections and 5 sub-sections for the points of the horse:

The images provide an excellent visual portrayal and with the text descriptions you will be left with a very clear understanding about the colours, markings and points of the horse.

The content has been written by a British Horse Society Registered instructor so if you are studying for a BHS exam, a Riding Club or Pony Club test this app will be an invaluable study aid, not to mention great fun with the quizzes!

With the quizzes you can select to be tested on all of the sections, or you can select to be tested on each individual section.

You can take the quizzes over and over again and they will be different each time as there are lots of questions in the bank.
