The "Towers of Hanoi" is a mathematical game. It consists of three rods, and a number of disks of different sizes which can slide onto any rod. The game starts when all the disks are arranged in a cone shape from the largest to smallest disk on the left rod.The objective of the game is to move all the disks to the right rod, obeying the following rules:1. Only one disk must be moved at a time.2. Each move consists of taking the upper disk from one rod and sliding it onto another rod, on a top of other disks that may already be present.3. No disk may be placed on top of a smaller disk.The "Hanoi Towers" puzzle (also called the Tower of Brahma or Lucas' Tower) was first published by the French mathematician Edouard Lucas in 1883.
