This Guitar Trainer app was designed to give the advancing guitarist a daily practice routine that would:

1. Enhance technique (picking, bending, pull offs/left hand strength);

2. Familiarize the player with the keys/scales most commonly used in rock music guitar solos (C, G, D, A, E);

3. Give the player a vocabulary of musical ideas (licks) from some of the greatest classic rock guitar solos/players.

Different videos feature different aspects of technique. Speed picking (Mr. Crowley, Bark at the Moon), Major scales (Just What I Needed), Natural Minor scale (Stairway to Heaven) Dorian Minor scale (Cuts Like a Knife, Bark at the Moon), Dominant / Mixolydian scale (Peg), Pentatonic/Blues scale (Whole Lotta Love, Walk This Way) and chord arpeggios (Hotel California).

Guitar Trainer lite takes the player through selected pieces of historically recognized guitar players / solos. The Guitar Trainer Pro digs deeper into these select musical pieces by covering the entire solo from each song.

Set up to practice / play along to at slow, medium and up to speed with the original recordings, these apps will be helpful for beginner and advancing guitarist as well.
