Growing Together will guide parents through pregnancy, birth and the early days of parenting (until baby’s first birthday). It aims to help women, their partners and support people, to understand the physical aspects of pregnancy and the medical, social and emotional support that is available.Growing Together has a strong mental health focus, alerting parents to signs and symptoms of mental health issues and highlighting the importance of support networks and seeking help. It also helps parents to see the world through baby’s eyes, to connect with them and be responsive to their needs from day one.Most of all, the kit points parents in Victoria towards the support they need during this exciting but sometimes overwhelming time.
