The educational application Graphophonics: Vocabulary is aimed at children aged 4-9. It is a scientifically supported methodology about enhancing first reading abilitiesand phonemic awareness.The children learn letters-graphemes names, as also the phoneme sounds that correspond to each letter of the alphabet.By touching an object-word, the letters of the touched object appear randomly on screen. The child, selects and drags the letter-grapheme, trying to find the correct position.If the letter is not in correct position, the letter returns to his initial position on screen.By touching each letter, the child can hear the correspondent phoneme sound and if the letter goes to the correct position, the name of the letter is heard, either in English or Greek language.
