Goldilocks and the Three Bears/Gouelokkies en Die Drie Bere is part of a series of interactive book apps in South African Sign Language available for Afrikaans and English speaking iPad users.Goldilocks and the Three Bears is a retelling of the classic tale of a little girl who found a house in the woods, her curiosity leads her to go into the house and explore, with some unexpected consequences. The application makes use of simplified text, SASL sign video, animation, as well as finger spelling to help deaf users formulate a better understanding of concepts, actions and words in written text. The app is suitable for both sign users and non-sign users or hard of hearing user.
