Beautifully designed and laid out the Geologist's Little Helper is a pleasure to use with built in checks and limits, email results functionality, and a shake to reset function. This app is built for the international oilfield using a mix of SI and imperial units for input and output. At the press of a button you can capture the results of any page as a .pdf and email them from within the application. Once you are done with a page you can shake the phone and the page will reset. Functionality includes-Oil Zone AnalysisGas Zone AnalysisLeak Off Test Formation Temperature Corrected D Exponent calculationThe Application is fully self contained requiring only minimal input to perform complex calculations. All Little Helper Apps have built in checks and limits to validate user input, prevent typo's and prevent erroneous answers from being returned. The checks and error message setup is such that you will not be prevented from working with values outside the built in limits, rather a warning pops up to let you know the values in question are either very high or very low for a given situation. However where the answer makes no sense at all you will be prompted to check the input. You can leave the applications, make a phone call, find a restaurant, play a game, whatever it happens to be then come back to the Little Helper and any data that you had entered will still be there. The Oil and Gas Zone Analysis is an excellent quick look assessment of potential hydrocarbon bearing zones. It includes Shale corrections, Water Zone/Rw calculations, Archies Swa and Rwa, and Reserves and Productivity calculations.
